Delaware High School Softball - St. Georges Tech nudges William Penn
April 29, 2024: Middletown, DE 19709 St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting William Penn Colonials (New Castle, DE), 8-7 in a league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delcastle Technical for a Blue Hen - Flight A game on Tuesday, April 30. St. Georges Tech will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 20-3 league loss to Odessa (Townsend, DE). The Cougars record now stands at 3-8.
In their next game, the Colonials clash with the Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 30. William Penn will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Islanders come into the game with a 0-8 record after their 20-4 league loss to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI).
