In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Adams Central Patriots baseball team scored a close 5-2 win over the Central City/Centura Kernels.

The Patriots (17-6) will now prepare for their game against Twin River (Genoa, NE). The Titans go into the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Twin River nudged Douglas County West (Valley, NE), 2-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Kernels play the Twin River Titans (Genoa, NE) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 1. Central City/Centura will attempt to improve on its 17-1 season record. The Titans go into the game with a 6-7 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Adams Central (Hastings, NE).
