Limon Badgers (Limon, CO) followers left the game pleased Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO), 7-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Limon moves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Badgers host Yuma (Yuma, CO) to battle the Outlaws in a non-league match on Thursday, May 1. The Outlaws come into the match with a record of 11-4. Yuma won 16-0 in their recent non-league match against Holyoke (Holyoke, CO)

The Trojans now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Swink for a 2A Santa Fe match on Friday, May 2. Las Animas will battle a Lions squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Hoehne (Hoehne, CO). The Lions record now stands at 10-7.
