New York High School Baseball - Poultney loses to Whitehall
April 29, 2025: Whitehall, NY 12887 The Poultney Blue Devils baseball squad (Poultney, VT), was overwhelmed 20-11 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Whitehall Railroaders (Whitehall, NY)
With the triumph, Whitehall moves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Railroaders travel to Hartford Central (Hartford, NY) to confront the Tanagers in a Section 2 Adirondack - East contest on Wednesday, April 30. The Tanagers come into the contest with a record of 5-4. Hartford Central won 10-1 in their recent league contest against Argyle (Argyle, NY)
The Blue Devils now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington Memorial for a contest on Friday, May 2. Poultney will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Rutland, VT). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
