April 29, 2025: Covington, KY 41015 The Covington Catholic Colonels (Park Hills, KY) baseball the host Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY), 6-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Colonels now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Highlands for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 30. Covington Catholic will clash with a Bluebirds team coming off a 13-12 non-league win over Simon Kenton (Independence, KY). The Bluebirds record now stands at 10-5.
With the defeat, Holy Cross drops to 4-5 on the year. The Indians host Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 2. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Beechwood won 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY)
