April 29, 2025: Chesapeake, VA 23322 Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hickory moves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to clash with the Hornets in a test on Thursday, May 1. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 4-2. Deep Creek lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA)
The Wildcats now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lakeland for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Great Bridge will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-5.
