Virginia High School Lacrosse - George C. Marshall drops to Yorktown
April 29, 2025: Falls Church, VA 22043 The Yorktown Patriots triumphed over the host George C. Marshall Statesmen lacrosse team by a tally of 18-0 in Tuesday's league match.
Next up, the Patriots confront the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) in a Liberty match, on Thursday, May 1. Yorktown will attempt to improve on its 11-0 season record. The Highlanders come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Wakefield School (The Plains, VA).
The Statesmen (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Herndon (Herndon, VA). The Hornets come into the Liberty match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Herndon was overwhelmed by Langley (McLean, VA), 19-3, in a league match.
