Illinois High School Soccer - Moline knocks off Galesburg
April 29, 2025: Galesburg, IL 61401 In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Moline Maroons soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 win over the Galesburg Silver Streaks.
The Maroons (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Berwyn/Cicero Morton tipped Mansueto (Chicago, IL), 6-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Silver Streaks confront the Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, May 1. Galesburg will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Rockets enter the outing with a 11-4 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Orion/Sherrard (Orion, IL).
