Illinois High School Soccer - Warren Township knocks off Zion-Benton
April 29, 2025: Gurnee, IL 60031 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) and the visiting Zion-Benton Zee-Bees (Zion, IL), saw Warren Township's soccer squad triumph over Zion-Benton by a score of 7-0.
The Blue Devils (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mundelein (Mundelein, IL). The Mustangs enter the North Suburban - Lake battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Mundelein was overwhelmed by Libertyville (Libertyville, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Zee-Bees confront the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) in a North Suburban - Lake battle, on Thursday, May 1. Zion-Benton will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 11-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL).
