In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Amherst Central Tigers lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-0 triumph over the Sweet Home Panthers.

The Tigers (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Island (Grand Island, NY). The Vikings go into the Class C challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Grand Island held off Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY), 11-10, in a league challenge.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Frontier Falcons (Hamburg, NY) in a challenge, on Saturday, May 3. Sweet Home will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record.
