Virginia High School Soccer - Oakton nudges James Madison
April 29, 2025: Vienna, VA 22181 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) and the visiting James Madison Warhawks (Vienna, VA), saw Oakton's soccer squad hold off James Madison by a count of 1-0.
The Cougars (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Chargers enter the Concorde battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Chantilly tipped Centreville (Clifton, VA), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next up, the Warhawks confront the Westfield Bulldogs (Chantilly, VA) in a Concorde battle, on Friday, May 2. James Madison will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 8-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over West Springfield (Springfield, VA).
