The Jefferson Cougars the host Clarke County Eagles softball squad by a count of 8-6 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV) in a Eastern Panhandle challenge, on Thursday, May 1. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 14-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 4-17 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD).
