Minnesota High School Softball - Maple Lake bounces Upsala
April 29, 2025: Maple Lake, MN 55358 The Maple Lake Irish softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Upsala Cardinals to 2 in the Irish non-league win on Tuesday.
The Irish now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eden Valley-Watkins for a Central Minnesota battle on Thursday, May 1. Maple Lake will confront a Eagles team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Osakis (Osakis, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Upsala moves to 2-6 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Browerville (Browerville, MN) to confront the Tigers in a Prairie battle on Thursday, May 1. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 3-3. Browerville won 4-1 in their recent non-league battle against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN)
