In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Brookfield Bobcats baseball team scored a close 7-3 win over the Weston Trojans.

The Bobcats (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Nighthawks go into the Southwest game with a 5-9 record. In their last game, Newtown nudged Bunnell (Stratford, CT), 6-2, in a league game.
