California High School Baseball - University Prep sneaks past Modoc

April 29, 2026: Redding, CA 96001

In Wednesday's non-league game, the host University Prep Panthers baseball team scored a close 6-5 victory over the Modoc Braves.

The Panthers (8-13) will now prepare for their game against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Eagles enter the Northern game with a 16-5 record. In their last game, West Valley held off University Prep (Redding, CA), 9-1, in a league game.

Next, the Braves face the Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA) in a Shasta Cascade game, on Saturday, May 2. Modoc will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record.
