In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Verona Hillbillies lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 triumph over the Johnson Crusaders.

The Hillbillies (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against West Orange (West Orange, NJ). The Mountaineers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record.

Next, the Crusaders clash with the Oratory Prep Rams (Summit, NJ) in a Kimber challenge, on Saturday, May 2. Johnson will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Dayton (Springfield, NJ).
