Ellington Knights (Ellington, CT) supporters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Stafford Bulldogs (Stafford Springs, CT), 13-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Ellington improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Knights host East Windsor (East Windsor, CT) to play the Panthers in a North Central Connecticut game on Monday, May 4. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 1-7. East Windsor lost 19-0 in their recent non-league game against Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial (Coventry, CT)
