Ohio High School Baseball - Indian Hill loses to Roger Bacon
April 3, 2021: Cincinnati, OH 45243 In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Roger Bacon Spartans baseball team scored a nice 15-3 victory over the Indian Hill Braves.
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Chaminade-Julienne (Dayton, OH). The Eagles go into the match with a 0-0 record.
The Braves (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Sycamore (Cincinnati, OH). The Aviators go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
Game Summary
The Spartans defeated Indian Hill today 15-3 in 5 innings! The offense was on full display with the Spartans tallying 14 hits! Every player who batted recorded at least one hit! Freshman Avery Battle, Mitch Elsass and Ethan Smith, and Sophomore Brayden Klems all had multi-hit performances! Sophomore Anthony Halsey and Freshman Alex Edmondson had doubles!
Freshman Chase Campbell was efficient and threw three perfect innings on the mound while striking out three.
The Spartans return to action on Monday for their first home game of the season, and begin conference play against Chaminade Julienne at 5:00 p.m.
