The West Marion Trojans (Foxworth, MS) baseball nipped the visiting Loyd Star Hornets (Brookhaven, MS), 6-5 in Monday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Trojans encounter the Jefferson Davis County Jaguars (Bassfield, MS) in a 3A Region 8 contest, on Tuesday, April 4. West Marion will attempt to better on its 13-9 season record.
