Southside Southerners (Batesville, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Trumann Wildcats (Trumann, AR), 7-5 in a league test.

With the win, Southside upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Southerners host Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR) to battle the Redskins in a 4A Region 3 test on Thursday, April 6. The Redskins come into the test with a record of 0-0.
