In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Ridgefield Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Newtown Nighthawks.

The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT). The Hilltoppers come into the Fairfield County battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Bridgeport Central lost by Masuk (Monroe, CT), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
