Connecticut High School Softball - Stonington bounces Windham RVT
April 3, 2023: Willimantic, CT 06226 Stonington Bears (Stonington, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Windham RVT Mighty Tigers (Willimantic, CT), 30-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now own a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Bernard for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 4. Stonington will clash with a Saints team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT). The Saints record now stands at 0-1.
In their next game, the Mighty Tigers clash with the Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT) in a Connecticut Tech match, on Wednesday, April 5. Windham RVT will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Beavers enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 16-4 non-league loss to Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT).
