The Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) softball routed the host Wallkill Panthers (Wallkill, NY), 13-4 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Vikings (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Kingston (Kingston, NY). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Kingston was routed by Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY), 6-2, in a non-league bout.
