April 3, 2024: Inman, SC 29349 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC) and the visiting Landrum Cardinals (Landrum, SC), saw Chapman's baseball squad knock off Landrum by a count of 7-1.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC) in a 3A Region 3 battle, on Tuesday, April 9. Chapman will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Fighting Tigers enter the battle with a 10-4 record after their 7-0 league win over Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC).
The Cardinals now possess a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Broome for a non-league battle on Monday, April 8. Landrum will play a Centurions squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Gaffney (Gaffney, SC). The Centurions record now stands at 3-3.
