New Jersey High School Baseball - Highland Regional holds off Lumpkin County
April 3, 2024: Blackwood, NJ 08072 Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA), 6-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Highland Regional upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Tartans host Knox Central (Barbourville, KY) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Thursday, April 4. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 5-4. Knox Central won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL)
With the defeat, Lumpkin County falls to 10-11 on the season. The Indians travel to Greece Athena (Rochester, NY) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Friday, April 5. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
