Oklahoma High School Baseball - Blackwell loses to Calumet
April 3, 2025: Blackwell, OK 74631 Calumet Chieftains (Calumet, OK) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK), 15-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Calumet advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Chieftains travel to Okarche (Okarche, OK) to battle the Warriors in a non-league match on Friday, April 4. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 5-2. Okarche lost 4-3 in their recent non-league match against Fort Cobb-Broxton (Fort Cobb, OK)
The Maroons now have a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alva for a Great Plains match on Monday, April 7. Blackwell will battle a Goldbugs squad coming off a 8-1 non-league win over Newkirk (Newkirk, OK). The Goldbugs record now stands at 1-0.
