In Thursday's non-league game, the host The Covenant Eagles baseball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Blue Ridge Jays.

The Eagles (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association (Amelia Court House, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association was tipped by Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA), 9-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Jays play the Faith Baptist (Fredericksburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 5. Blue Ridge will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
