Louisiana High School Baseball - Booker T. Washington loses to Salmen
April 3, 2025: Slidell, LA 70451 Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Booker T. Washington Lions (New Orleans, LA), 20-0 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Salmen advances its record to 5-20 on the season. The Spartans travel to Chalmette (Chalmette, LA) to battle the Owls in a 5A District 7 match on Tuesday, April 8. The Owls come into the match with a record of 14-17. Chalmette lost 1-0 in their recent league match against Slidell (Slidell, LA)
The Lions now have a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Plaquemines for a non-league match on Sunday, April 6. Booker T. Washington will battle a Hurricanes squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over West St. John (Edgard, LA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 9-9.
