McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Girard Indians (Girard, OH), 8-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, McDonald advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to McKinley (Niles, OH) to battle the Red Dragons in a non-league match on Friday, April 4. The Red Dragons come into the match with a record of 1-3. McKinley lost 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Harding (Warren, OH)

The Indians now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson Area for a non-league match on Friday, April 4. Girard will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Kirtland (Kirtland, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 0-2.
