Illinois High School Baseball - Joliet Catholic loses to Plainfield Central
April 3, 2025: Joliet, IL 60435 Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL), 6-1 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Plainfield Central moves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to battle the Celtics in a non-league match on Saturday, April 5. The Celtics come into the match with a record of 3-1. Providence Catholic won 7-2 in their recent non-league match against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL)
The Hilltoppers now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Trier for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 8. Joliet Catholic will battle a Trevians squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Trevians record now stands at 7-2.
