The South Charlotte Thunder lacrosse squad scored 15 points and limited the host Independence Patriots to 2 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Thunder now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. South Charlotte will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 21-1 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Independence falls to 0-11 on the year. The Patriots travel to SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 10.
