In Thursday's league contest, the host Valley Central Vikings lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-5 triumph over the Washingtonville Wizards.

The Vikings (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 9 B Division II contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Minisink Valley by Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY), 13-11, in a non-league contest.
