North Carolina High School Soccer - West Stanly knocks off Central Academy
April 3, 2025: Oakboro, NC 28129 In Thursday's league outing, the host West Stanly Colts soccer squad scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Central Academy Cougars.
The Colts (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack go into the Rocky River 2A/3A outing with a 6-7 record. In their last outing, Parkwood got by Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 3-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A outing, on Tuesday, April 8. Central Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Bearcats go into the outing with a 3-8 record after their 9-0 league loss to Piedmont (Monroe, NC).
