The Forbush Falcons baseball team (East Bend, NC), was overwhelmed 13-4 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY)

The Tomcats (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Lewis County was overwhelmed by Estill County (Irvine, KY), 11-9, in a non-league contest.

The Falcons now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robert C. Byrd for a non-league contest on Saturday, April 4. Forbush will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over North Royalton (North Royalton, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
