The Lamar Warriors baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Cedar Ridge Timberwolves to 3 in the Warriors non-league win on Friday.

The Warriors now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mansfield for a 3A Region 4 test on Tuesday, April 7.

With the defeat, Cedar Ridge drops to 6-5 on the year. The Timberwolves host Armorel (Armorel, AR) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, April 3. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 5-6. Armorel won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR)
