Herscher Tigers (Herscher, IL) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL), 14-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Herscher advances its record to 8-2 on the season. The Tigers host Wilmington (Wilmington, IL) to play the Wildcats in a Illinois Central Eight test on Monday, April 6. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 2-2. Wilmington lost 4-3 in their recent league test against Coal City (Coal City, IL)

With the defeat, Seneca drops to 1-6 on the year. The Fighting irish travel to Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL) to play the Mallards in a Tri-County test on Tuesday, April 7. The Mallards go into the test with a record of 4-5.
