The LaBrae Vikings baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Hickory Hornets to 6 in the Vikings non-league win on Friday.

The Vikings now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host McKinley for a non-league test on Saturday, April 11.

With the defeat, Hickory drops to 1-5 on the year. The Hornets travel to Titusville (Titusville, PA) to play the Rockets in a District 10 Region 2 test on Wednesday, April 8. The Rockets go into the test with a record of 3-3. Titusville won 1-0 in their recent league test against Franklin (Franklin, PA)
