Vacaville Bulldogs (Vacaville, CA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA), 7-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Vacaville advances its record to 13-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Pioneer (Woodland, CA) to battle the Patriots in a Monticello Empire League match on Tuesday, April 7. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 9-7. Pioneer lost 13-3 in their recent non-league match against Lincoln (Lincoln, CA)

The Dragons now have a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host San Rafael for a non-league game on Saturday, April 4. Sonoma Valley will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-6.
