The Perrydale Pirates softball team scored 31 runs and held the host Nestucca Bobcats to 15 in the Pirates non-league win on Friday.

The Pirates now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a 2A/1A-SD2 Special District 2 battle on Monday, April 6. Perrydale will confront a Trojans team coming off a 14-1 league win over Country Christian (Molalla, OR). The Trojans record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Nestucca moves to 3-2 on the season. The Bobcats host Sheridan (Sheridan, OR) to confront the Spartans in a non-league battle on Monday, April 6. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
