April 30, 2021: Lena, IL 61048 The Lena-Winslow Panthers softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Warren/Stockton Warhawks to 7 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Lena-Winslow improves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Panthers host Durand (Durand, IL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a NUIC East game on Wednesday, May 5. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 2-0. Durand won 23-5 in their recent league game against Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL)
In their next game, the Warhawks clash with the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL) in a NUIC West game, on Thursday, May 6. Warren/Stockton will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 22-4 non-league loss to Polo (Polo, IL).
