Maryland High School Baseball - Poolesville defeats Gaithersburg
April 30, 2022: Poolesville, MD 20837 Poolesville Falcons (Poolesville, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Poolesville upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Falcons host Wootton (Rockville, MD) to battle the Patriots in a Montgomery County 4A - West test on Monday, May 2. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 11-4. Wootton won 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Einstein (Kensington, MD)
With the defeat, Gaithersburg falls to 5-7 on the season. The Trojans host Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD) to battle the Warriors in a non-league test on Monday, May 2. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 14-1. Sherwood won 12-0 in their recent non-league test against Magruder (Rockville, MD)
