Ohio High School Baseball - Triway holds off Smithville
April 30, 2022: Smithville, OH 44677 Triway Titans (Wooster, OH) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Smithville Smithies (Smithville, OH), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Triway upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Titans travel to Tuslaw (Massillon, OH) to battle the Mustangs in a Principals test on Monday, May 2. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-14. Tuslaw lost 12-5 in their recent league test against Fairless (Navarre, OH)
With the defeat, Smithville falls to 7-4 on the season. The Smithies travel to Norwayne (Creston, OH) to battle the Bobcats in a Wayne County Athletic test on Wednesday, May 4. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 9-1.
