New York High School Lacrosse - Connetquot drops to Ward Melville
April 30, 2022: Bohemia, NY 11716 Ward Melville Patriots (East Setauket, NY) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Connetquot T-Birds (Bohemia, NY), 13-7 in a league battle.
The Patriots now own a 11-0 record. They take the field next when they host Northport for a Section 11 I battle on Tuesday, May 3. Ward Melville will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 8-7 non-league win over Wilton (Wilton, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 10-1.
In their next game, the T-Birds clash with the Riverhead Blue Waves (Riverhead, NY) in a Section 11 I battle, on Tuesday, May 3. Connetquot will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Blue Waves come into the battle with a 4-7 record after their 13-10 league loss to Smithtown East (Smithtown, NY).
