April 30, 2022: Waterboro, ME 04087 The York Wildcats lacrosse team scored 19 points and held the host Massabesic Mustangs to 1 in the Wildcats non-league win on Saturday.
The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Lake Region (Naples, ME). The Lakers go into the non-league match with a 1-4 record. In their last match, Lake Region was overwhelmed by Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME), 20-5, in a non-league match.
The Mustangs (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Trojans go into the Class A South match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Thornton Academy prevailed over Portland (Portland, ME), 17-3, in a non-league match.
