Maine High School Softball - Schenck can't get by Calais
April 30, 2022: East Millinocket, ME 04430 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME) softball team held off the host Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME), by a margin of 7-6.
With the triumph, Calais moves its record to 1-3 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Machias (Machias, ME) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, May 2. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Machias won 13-3 in their recent league contest against Jonesport-Beals (Jonesport, ME)
In their next game, the Wolverines play the Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) in a Class D North contest, on Monday, May 2. Schenck will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Howlers come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 11-4 league loss to Stearns (Millinocket, ME).
