April 30, 2022: Grove City, OH 43123 Tallmadge Blue Devils (Tallmadge, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH), 8-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Blue Devils now own a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they host Copley for a Suburban - American challenge on Monday, May 2. Tallmadge will face a Indians squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Revere (Richfield, OH). The Indians record now stands at 8-4.
With the loss, Central Crossing falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Comets host Newark (Newark, OH) to face the Wildcats in a Ohio Capital - Buckeye challenge on Monday, May 2. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-12. Newark lost 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Olentangy Liberty (Powell, OH)
