New York High School Softball - Keshequa bounces Chautauqua Lake
April 30, 2022: Nunda, NY 14517 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Keshequa Indians (Nunda, NY) and the visiting Chautauqua Lake Thunderbirds (Mayville, NY), witnessed Keshequa's softball squad tip Chautauqua Lake by a count of 8-2.
The Indians now sport a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Caledonia-Mumford for a Livingston County Div III match on Tuesday, May 3. Keshequa will face a Raiders squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Perry (Perry, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Chautauqua Lake moves to 0-2 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Roosevelt (Hyde Park, NY) to face the Presidents in a non-league match on Saturday, April 30. The Presidents go into the match with a record of 8-1. Roosevelt won 13-5 in their recent league match against Rondout Valley (Accord, NY)
