The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN) and the host South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN), saw Tippecanoe Valley's softball squad nip South Central by a count of 3-2.

The Vikings now sport a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Miami for a Three Rivers match on Monday, May 2. Tippecanoe Valley will face a Warriors squad coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Leo (Leo, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, South Central falls to 9-3 on the campaign. The Satellites travel to Boone Grove (Valparaiso, IN) to face the Wolves in a Porter County match on Monday, May 2.
