Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 12-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Isle of Wight Academy upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Chargers travel to Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA) to battle the Crusaders in a non-league test on Thursday, May 2. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 10-10. Catholic lost 12-4 in their recent league test against Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA)

With the defeat, The Covenant falls to 7-7 on the season. The Eagles host Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA) to battle the Tigers in a Blue Ridge test on Thursday, May 2.
