In Tuesday's league contest, the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, May 1. Sandburg will attempt to better on its 13-8 season record. The Fightin' Irish go into the contest with a 12-17 record after their 2-0 league win over St. Edward (Elgin, IL).
